David Almendros is the Digital Innovation Manager of CaixaBank, the biggest bank in Spain with more than 13M customers. His responsibility is to identify technology trends that might impact the financial sector and introduce them in CaixaBank. David is currently working in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Blockchain, IoT and Cloud analytics. One of his achievements has been to develop an assistant based on IBM Watson to help employees in the area of foreign trading. David joined CaixaBank in 2006, and since then he’s managed different areas in IT, such as social media, marketing or the fee office. David Almendros holds three bachelor degrees in Telecommunications, Computer Sciences and Electronics and a MBA from ESADE.






Sevda Diker Ceylan

Sevda Diker Ceylan works as a Vice President of Innovation Committee in DenizBank under Digital Generation Banking business line. She manages innovation projects, introducing new initiatives and projects to provide an innovative culture throughout the bank. Her responsibilities also include building relationships with start-ups and fintechs, and establishing projects to support the Open Innovation ecosystem of the bank. She is passionate about the development of new innovative product ideas, project coordination with related units and establishment of innovative projects for digital banking products. She has also marketing experience, which Sevda leverages to understand customer needs and enhance the customer experience.

Adrian has a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Computer Science and over 4 years of experience in banking and debt collection. He possesses knowledge of logistic regression, scoring models and data mining. Adrian is responsible for calculating, validating and finally implementing debt collection models. In private, he’s a fan of fingerstyle guitar playing.
