Dr. Anthony Chan is Chief Economist at BrightQuery. Previously, he was Managing Director, Chief Global Economist at JPMorgan Chase & Co. He earned his B.B.A. in Finance and Investments degree from Baruch College and his master's and doctorate from the University of Maryland. He has worked as a professor at the University of Dayton and was an Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank and Barclays. He was a Doctoral fellow at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C. Anthony also serves as the Treasurer of the Skyhook Foundation.

Elaine Makdah

Elaine Makdah has been with Equifax since 2006, joining with the acquisition of PayNet, Inc. in 2019. She brings 29 years of experience to her position. Elaine is instrumental to the monthly production of Equifax’s U.S Small Business Indices, having played a major role in the design, development and automation of these products. In her current consulting analytics role, she also contributes to the production of strategic business reviews, which benchmark specific clients against peers, providing business insights and strategic conclusions. Elaine has additional expertise in analyzing the effectiveness of risk models, scores, and data sources, presenting and developing alternative credit decision strategies to financial institutions.
