Chris believes in using data and analytics to provide insights into the increasing complex problems faced by businesses today. Previously, Chris has held positions at Alliance Data Services, Key Bank, and PNC Bank.

Steven Tiell is a pioneer in Data Ethics and AI Governance. He coined the term ‘Responsible Innovation’ in 2018 and founded and led Accenture’s global Data Ethics and Responsible Innovation practice, leading AI Governance initiatives at nearly 50 organizations across 10 industries on 3 continents over 4+ years. Tiell has published dozens of papers that advanced the field. Before SAS, Tiell was Vice President for AI Strategy at DataStax. He holds patents for data trusts and his leadership is recognized by the Atlantic Council GeoTech Center where he serves as Nonresident Senior Fellow and OpenAI as a Forum participant. He’s also held fellowships at the World Economic Forum for Digital Trust and Metaverse Governance. Tiell holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering, Information Systems and an MBA in Sustainable Management.
