Jason Epstein
Executive Vice President, Head of Sales, Service and Performance Management
Regions Bank

Jason Epstein is currently the Corporate Consumer Performance Executive for the Consumer Services Group of Regions Bank. His responsibilities include sales and service delivery and performance management for Regions’ branch system. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, AL.

Epstein joined Regions in 1997 as a member of the Management Associate Program and has served in various roles throughout the bank’s branch system. He was promoted to his current role in 2010 after holding the title of Consumer Banking Executive for the North Central Alabama area for seven years. He was responsible for loan/deposit growth, non-interest revenue, expenses, operational integrity and sales performance for 95 branches in the Birmingham area.

Epstein holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He also completed the Regions Leadership Institute, facilitated by Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.

Epstein serves on the University of Montevallo College of Business Advisory Board. Epstein has been a recipient of the University of Montevallo’s Under 40 Young Achievers Award, featured in “Finance on the Move” by the Birmingham Business Journal, and he has twice chaired the Regions Birmingham Bank United Way Campaign.


Chris Thurmond
Incentive Manager and Retail Strategy
First Tennessee Bank

Chris Thurmond has been responsible for sales compensation programs over the last five years which includes incentive plan and reward/recognition strategy, design, budgets and communications for First Tennessee Bank’s branch network. Chris is also responsible for performance management processes for roles that fall within the bank network and analytics to illustrate individual, branch and market performance. In addition to his time in Retail Banking Chris’ twenty year career includes extensive experience in the mortgage and small business segments. Chris has an undergraduate degree in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University and a MBA from Auburn University. He currently resides with his family in the Nashville, TN area.
